Jonny Brodzinski - On waiversBrodzinski was waived by the Rangers on Friday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
ImpactBrodzinski recorded 21 goals, 48 points and 39 PIM in 47 contests with AHL Hartford in 2022-23. He also had a goal, two points and eight PIM in 17 games with the Rangers. Brodzinski will likely start the season with Hartford unless he's claimed off waivers.

Ben Harpur - Put on waiversThe Rangers placed Harpur on waivers Friday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
ImpactHarpur scored a goal and six points in 42 games with the Rangers in 2022-23. Unless he's selected off waivers, Harpur is likely to begin the campaign with AHL Hartford.

Brennan Othmann - AHL boundOthmann was sent to AHL Hartford on Friday..
ImpactThe 20-year-old was selected 16th overall in 2021. He split the 2022-23 season between OHL Flint and Peterborough, scoring 29 goals while adding 38 assists in 56 contests. He excelled in the playoffs with eight goals and 25 points in 23 games. Othmann needs some minor league seasoning and could spend the most, if not all of the 2023-24 campaign with Hartford.
