Vinni Lettieri - Surfaces on long-term IRLettieri (lower body) was placed on long-term injured reserve Saturday, per CapFriendly.

ImpactLettieri was waived earlier in the day, so it's unclear if he's healthy or not. He's spent the minimum 24 days on the shelf but hasn't been out for 10 games to be eligible to return yet. Even when officially cleared, he'll likely report to AHL Providence.

Brad Marchand - Five-game point streakMarchand scored a goal Saturday in a 3-1 win over Vancouver.

ImpactMarchand scored the game-winning goal with 25 seconds left in the first period. He cut to the middle off the right wing and around the Canucks' defender before shooting back and past Arturs Silov's glove as the netminder moved right. The goal extended Marchand's point streak to five games and six points, including three goals.

Linus Ullmark - Scores goal in milestone winUllmark made 26 saves and scored a goal in to an empty net in a 3-1 win over Vancouver on Saturday.

ImpactIt was a big night for Ullmark. He reached 30 saves (30-4-1) for the first time in eight NHL seasons. And he became the 14th goalie to score a goal in the NHL and ninth to do it by firing a shot into the net. He collected a dump-in to the right of his net and lofted the puck from the bottom of the circle up and over everyone on the ice. It landed flat in the Canucks end and slid right into the center of the net. Ullmark is the first netminder to score since Pekka Rinne of the Preds did it Jan. 9, 2020 against the Blackhawks.

Vinni Lettieri - Hits waiversLettieri (lower body) was waived by the Bruins on Saturday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.

ImpactLettieri, who's been sidelined with a lower-body injury since being recalled by the Bruins on Jan. 31, was presumably activated off injured reserve before hitting waivers. In the likely event he goes unclaimed, look for Lettieri to join AHL Providence.
