Waived Monday Gaunce was put on waivers Monday, according to Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Impact Gaunce produced 19 goals and 39 points across 46 regular-season contests with AHL Cleveland in 2023-24. He added two goals and two assists in 24 regular-season outings at the NHL level with Columbus. Gaunce could be a call-up option for Minnesota in 2024-25 if he doesn't get claimed by another club.

Makes two-year commitment Gaunce signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Wild on Monday.

Impact Gaunce had two goals and four points in 24 outings with Columbus in 2023-24. He also recorded 19 goals and 39 points in 46 regular-season appearances with AHL Cleveland. The 30-year-old will probably start the 2024-25 campaign in the minors, but Gaunce is likely to spend portions of the season with Minnesota as an injury replacement.
