Impact Jokiharju had gone six games without a point entering Friday. He's a defensive presence in a top-four role, but that's an assignment that doesn't tend to lead to much offense. On the year, Jokiharju has 16 points, 78 shots on net, 81 hits, 96 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating through 66 appearances.

Impact Tuch helped out on the second and third goals of Tage Thompson's four-goal outing. During his seven-game point streak, Tuch has been playing provider with one tally and nine helpers. The winger is up to 51 points, 166 shots on net, 66 hits, 72 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 67 contests. Playing alongside the Sabres' leading goal scorers in Thompson and John-Jason Peterka should allow Tuch plenty of chances to continue his playmaking success.

Impact Peterka wasn't able to help out on any of linemate Tage Thompson's four goals, but he was able to extend his own goal streak. The 22-year-old Peterka has scored in four straight games, netting five goals in that span. The winger is at 26 tallies, 46 points, 197 shots on net and a plus-11 rating through 74 contests overall. He's been on the top line lately, a role that should continue to allow him to flourish.

Impact Thompson was just about all of the Sabres' offense Friday. He erased a 2-0 deficit in the second period, then added a go-ahead goal and an empty-netter in the third to finish off an excellent performance. It's not the best game of his career -- he had a five-goal effort Dec. 7, 2022 versus the Blue Jackets -- but it was easily Thompson's best game this season. He's up to 26 goals, 49 points, 226 shots on net, 72 hits and a minus-3 rating through 63 appearances.

Impact It was closer than the score would indicate, as the Sabres scored a couple of empty-netters in the final minute. Levi started poorly. giving up two goals within the first 10:31 before settling in the rest of the way. He has allowed five goals on 95 shots over three appearances since he was called up in mid-March. The 22-year-old is at 10-8-2 with a 3.10 GAA and an .899 save percentage over 23 outings this season. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen will likely start Saturday versus the Maple Leafs.
