JJ Peterka - Two goals in lopsided defeat Peterka scored a pair of goals in Thursday's 8-3 loss to the Oilers.
Impact Peterka opened the scoring 1:38 into the first period, picking up a loose puck in the slot before beating Stuart Skinner with a wrister. Peterka added another tally late in the second to put the Sabres ahead 3-2 before Edmonton responded with six unanswered goals. It's the first multi-point game since Feb. 13 for the 22-year-old Peterka -- he'd logged just two goals and five points in his previous 18 contests. He's up to 23 goals and 43 points through 71 games this season.

Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen - Gives up eight vs. Edmonton Luukkonen allowed eight goals on 38 shots in an 8-3 loss to the Oilers on Thursday.
Impact It was a brutal night for Luukkonen, who allowed a season-high eight goals, including five in the third period. The 25-year-old netminder hadn't allowed more than three goals in a start since Feb. 19 -- he'd gone 9-3-1 with a .927 save percentage in his last 13 outings. Overall, Luukkonen falls to 23-18-3 with a .912 save percentage and 2.52 GAA this season. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, likely to come Sunday in Calgary.
