Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen - Slated to start Saturday Luukkonen is expected to start in Saturday's road game versus Arizona, according to Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News.

Impact Clifton helped out on Casey Mittelstadt's game-tying goal in the third period. With five helpers over his last five games, Clifton has chipped in some unexpected offense from the third pairing. The 28-year-old has just seven assists all season while adding 63 hits, 44 PIM, 32 blocked shots, 21 shots on net and a minus-4 rating over 28 contests. He'll likely continue to play regularly, but he's not a player that should be relied on for point production.

Mattias Samuelsson - Garners rare assist Samuelsson posted an assist, two hits, two blocked shots, two PIM and a plus-3 rating in Friday's 5-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Impact Samuelsson hadn't gotten on the scoresheet since Oct. 27, a span of 18 games without a point. He snapped the drought with a secondary helper on Zach Benson's go-ahead goal in the third period. Samuelsson is about as pure of a defensive blueliner as they get, offering a stable presence at the back to enable Rasmus Dahlin or Owen Power to push forward more. Through 27 contests, Samuelsson has four points, 28 shots on net, 59 hits, 57 blocked shots and 18 PIM.

Dahlin continues to provide strong all-around production for fantasy managers, especially since his offense has steadied after a slow start. He's at 25 points (seven on the power play), 82 shots on net, 61 hits, 57 blocked shots, 20 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 30 appearances this season.

Impact Benson's goal at 9:29 of the third period was the game-winner, and he also set up Alex Tuch on an insurance tally two minutes later. With three points over his last two games, Benson appears to be benefiting from being part of a healthier top six for the Sabres. The rookie winger has produced 10 points, 31 shots on net, 14 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through his first 21 outings.

The 27-year-old Tuch has five points over five career games versus Vegas, the team he broke into the NHL with before he was traded to Buffalo in the Jack Eichel deal. This was Tuch's second game back from a lower-body injury. He's now at 10 goals, 21 points, 66 shots on net, 28 blocked shots, 26 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 25 appearances this season.

Dylan Cozens - Racks up three points Friday Cozens scored a goal on three shots, added two assists and went plus-3 in Friday's 5-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Impact Cozens ended his 11-game goal drought with the opening tally in the second period. He went on to set up both of Casey Mittelstadt's goals in the third, one which tied the game at 2-2 and the other going into an empty net. Cozens has maintained a top-six role despite his sluggish offense and the Sabres' return to health up front in recent weeks. For the year, the 22-year-old center has five goals, 11 helpers, 74 shots on net, 26 hits, 25 PIM and a minus-4 rating over 29 appearances.

The 21-year-old's solid play is his best stretch of the season, and it has helped him reclaim the No. 1 job between the pipes. He's up to 6-4-2 with a 3.07 GAA and an .898 save percentage through 13 games, but his recent play is more indicative of his talent level. The Sabres are back in action Saturday, with one of Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen or Eric Comrie likely to start in Arizona.

Impact Levi has been lights out as of late, allowing just five goals on 86 shots over his last three starts, going 2-0-1 in the process. The 21-year-old has now started four of Buffalo's last five contests; he's carving out more playing time while Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen has struggled, allowing 13 goals during his three-game losing streak. Levi is 5-4-2 with a 3.16 GAA and an .893 save percentage this season.
