Kyle Palmieri - Supplies power-play assistPalmieri had a power-play assist in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Sabres.
ImpactThe winger had gone two games without a point for just the third time all season. He snapped the short dry spell when he set up Anders Lee's second-period tally. Palmieri is up to 20 points (three on the power play), 56 shots on net, 15 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 25 appearances this season. That would put him on pace to exceed the 60-point mark for the first time in his career, so it's fair to assume he'll slow down at some point. Until then, he's a solid depth winger for fantasy.

Nicolas Aube-Kubel - Draws in, can't contribute in lossAube-Kubel returned to the lineup Saturday in a 3-0 loss to the Islanders, but he recorded just three shots on goal and three hits over 11:23 of ice time.
ImpactAube-Kubel filled in for Sam Lafferty (lower body) in this contest. Given the Sabres produced no goals, lineup changes could be coming for Tuesday versus the Avalanche. Aube-Kubel played in just six of 14 contests in November and remains in search of his first point -- he's been held scoreless with seven shots on net, 11 hits and six PIM over eight appearances so far. When he plays, he's typically stuck in a fourth-line role.

Anders Lee - Nets PP goal SaturdayLee scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Sabres.
ImpactLee opened the scoring for the Isles with a power-play tally midway through the first period, giving him 10 goals on the year. The 34-year-old winger has struggled with consistency, and most of his points have come in short stretches, followed by droughts where he's unable to find twine. That seems to be the case once again, as he's scored three goals across his last four appearances.

Simon Holmstrom - Scores twice in win SaturdayHolmstrom scored two goals in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Sabres.
ImpactHolmstrom found the back of the net on even strength midway through the second period, and the 23-year-old winger closed the scoring with an empty-netter in the final seconds of the final frame. He's been on a tear of late with braces in back-to-back games, as he also notched two goals in the 5-4 loss to the Jets on Friday, and he's recorded five goals, and six total points, over his last six appearances.

Ilya Sorokin - Posts 29-save shutout SaturdaySorokin stopped all 29 shots he faced en route to a 3-0 shutout win over the Sabres on Saturday.
ImpactSorokin had a tough night in his most recent start, allowing five goals on only 20 shots in a 6-3 loss to Boston on Wednesday, but he bounced back admirably in this one and posted his first shutout of the campaign. Sorokin had a fair share of uneven performances in November, but he might be turning things around. He's won in two of his last three starts while posting a save percentage of .930 or higher in three of his previous four appearances, giving up two or fewer goals three times in that stretch. Sorokin has gone 6-6-3 on the season while posting a .915 save percentage.

James Reimer - Third loss of seasonReimer stopped 17 of 19 shots in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Islanders. The third goal was an empty-netter with eight seconds left in the third period.
ImpactReimer started in the second leg of this back-to-back set, but he didn't perform at his best and had to settle for another defeat and he sits at 1-3-0 in four appearances this season. However, and despite the record, it's worth noting Reimer has posted a save percentage of at least .890 in three of his four appearances. That said, his role as the backup behind Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen limits his upside considerably.
