"The Goal is to Wear this Jersey Full Time" | Anton Wahlberg After Preseason Game in Pittsburgh
2 months ago
Rasmus Dahlin - Cleared for contactDahlin (undisclosed) joined the Sabres on the ice Wednesday without wearing a non-contact jersey.
ImpactDahlin missed Tuesday's preseason contest against Pittsburgh, but he seems to be making progress. Perhaps he'll be in the lineup Thursday versus Ottawa, but of course, there's no reason for Buffalo to rush him during training camp, so it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up missing additional exhibition action.

Filip Kral - Officially day-to-dayKral was labeled day-to-day with a lower-body injury Wednesday, Wes Crosby of NHL.com reports.
ImpactConsidering Kral had to be helped off the ice in Tuesday's preseason clash with the Sabres, the fact that he is considered day-to-day certainly seems to be good news. The 24-year-old defenseman was unlikely to make the Opening Night roster, but this injury will only serve to further cement his status as an AHL player to start the 2024-25 campaign.

Jonathan Gruden - Has upper-body injuryGruden has sustained an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day, per Wes Crosby of NHL.com on Wednesday.
ImpactGruden had a goal in 13 games with Pittsburgh in 2023-24. He's fighting for a roster spot, but there's a good chance the 24-year-old will begin the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.
