Dennis Gilbert - Won't play Saturday Gilbert (upper body) won't play Saturday against Philadelphia, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Impact Gilbert, who was injured late Thursday's 6-3 win over Nashville, will be replaced in the lineup by Jordan Oesterle. The 27-year-old Gilbert has seven points, 22 shots on goal, 43 blocked shots and 44 hits in 28 games this season.

Andrew Mangiapane - Generates helper Mangiapane notched an assist, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Predators.
Impact Mangiapane's resurgence continued Thursday -- he's now earned one goal and five assists over his last five games. The winger set up Noah Hanifin's buzzer-beater in the second period. Mangiapane is now at 22 points, 55 shots on net, 39 hits, 39 PIM and a plus-3 rating over 37 appearances. He'll likely stick on the third line as long as the team is finding success with him there.

Mikael Backlund - Notches helper Thursday Backlund produced an assist and seven shots on goal in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Predators.
Impact Backlund set up linemate Blake Coleman for a first-period tally. With two goals and three assists over his last seven games, Backlund continues to produce offense at a solid rate. The 34-year-old center is up to 20 points, 100 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 38 outings. He will likely continue to play a key middle-six role throughout the campaign.

Elias Lindholm - Supplies helper in win Lindholm recorded an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Predators.
Impact Lindholm has opened January with a helper in each of the first two games. He pressured Kevin Lankinen behind the net after a dump-in, and Lindholm was able to find Yegor Sharangovich in front for an insurance tally. Getting Lindholm to contribute more consistently is a key for the Flames if they're to stay in the playoff hunt. He's at 25 points, 102 shots on net, 34 hits, 30 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 38 contests in a key all-situations role.

Noah Hanifin - Ends five-game slump Hanifin scored a goal on six shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Predators.
Impact Hanifin went five games without a point, and he hadn't scored a goal since Nov. 30. The defenseman can often find non-scoring ways to contribute -- he's logged multiple blocked shots in four of his last six outings. Overall, the 26-year-old has 18 points, 68 shots on net, 56 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 38 appearances, putting him in position to push for a 40-point campaign.

Nazem Kadri - Scores again Thursday Kadri scored a goal on five shots and added two hits in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Predators.
Impact Kadri has three goals over his last four games. His tally Thursday gave the Flames a 3-1 lead at 7:57 of the first period. The center continues to be steady in a top-six role, and he's now at 11 tallies, 27 points, 125 shots on net and a minus-4 rating through 38 appearances this season.

Yan Kuznetsov - Rises to top level Kuznetsov was promoted from AHL Calgary on Friday.
Impact Kuznetsov has collected seven points through 31 minor-league contests this year. Although he's been promoted, at this point it isn't clear if Kuznetsov will make his NHL debut Saturday versus the Flyers.

Rasmus Andersson - Collects two points Thursday Andersson provided a goal and an assist in Calgary's 6-3 win over Nashville on Thursday.
Impact Andersson's marker, which came late in the first period, put Calgary up 4-2 and proved to be the game-winner. The 27-year-old has six tallies this season and two of them have been GWGs, which is similar to his unusually high rate of deciding markers in 2022-23 (four of his 11 goals were GWGs). That's just a nice bonus for fantasy managers as Andersson is a solid defenseman regardless with 21 points, a plus-1 rating, 29 PIM, 80 shots and 95 hits in 34 contests this season. The only significant blemish is he has just four points (all assists) with the man advantage despite having a role on the main power-play unit, though he did get a power-play helper Thursday, so perhaps that will be the start of a run.

Connor Zary - Records two points vs. Predators Zary contributed a goal and an assist in Calgary's 6-3 victory over Nashville on Thursday.
Impact Zary found the back of the net on the power play at just 4:45 of the first period to open the scoring. He assisted on Rasmus Andersson's even-strength tally later in the frame. Zary is up to eight goals and 19 points in 28 appearances this season, including three power-play points. The 22-year-old rookie brought his four-game scoring drought to an end with his efforts Thursday.
