Justin Kirkland - Finds twine in loss Kirkland scored a goal and added two hits in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Canucks.
Impact Kirkland opened the scoring late in the first period, but that was all the Flames could put past Kevin Lankinen. The 28-year-old Kirkland has two points, three shots on net, 14 hits and nine PIM through five outings in November. He's at seven points, six shots on net, 38 hits, 13 blocked shots, 11 PIM and a plus-6 rating over 14 contests this season, playing primarily in a fourth-line role.

Dan Vladar - Takes another loss Vladar stopped 29 of 32 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Canucks.
Impact The Flames had their first back-to-back of November, which likely explains why Vladar started after Dustin Wolf won Monday versus the Kings. The two goalies alternated starts in October, but head coach Ryan Huska looks to be leaning toward riding a hot hand moving forward. Vladar has lost three straight now (0-2-1), though he's allowed a modest eight goals in that span. He's 3-4-2 with a 2.65 GAA and a .906 save percentage through nine outings. That's good enough to be a No. 3 option in fantasy as he continues to work in a timeshare. It'll likely be Wolf in between the pipes Friday versus the Predators.

The 27-year-old Vladar has a 3-3-2 record with one shutout, a 2.60 GAA and a .906 save percentage across eight outings in 2024-25. Vancouver sits 14th in the league with 3.23 goals per game this season.

Impact Rooney earned his first point of the season with the empty-netter to help the Flames fend off the Kings at the end of the game. This was the center's first point in eight appearances this season. He missed time with a concussion in October but appears to be the Flames' preferred option as the fourth-line center. In addition to his goal, he has three shots on net, 11 hits, four blocked shots and four PIM.

Jonathan Huberdeau - Good all-around effort Monday Huberdeau scored a goal on two shots, added three hits and blocked four shots in Monday's 3-1 win over the Kings.
Impact Huberdeau was able to convert on a partial breakaway in the second period just 36 seconds after Mikael Backlund opened the scoring for the Flames. Huberdeau's tally stood as his first game-winner of the campaign, and he has gotten on the scoresheet in consecutive contests. The 31-year-old is up to six goals, four helpers, 26 shots on net, 16 blocked shots, 10 hits and a minus-1 rating through 16 appearances. He hasn't typically made large defensive contributions in the past, but it's helping to diversify his fantasy production in 2024-25.

Impact The 35-year-old center opened the scoring midway through the second period en route to his first multi-point performance of the season. Backlund is supplying his usual reliable secondary scoring so far in 2024-25, and through 16 contests he's delivered four goals and nine points. He's also been a little more selective with his shots -- he's on pace to record fewer than 200 shots on net for the first time over a full season since 2019-20, but his 10.5 percent shooting is his highest mark since 2016-17.

Dustin Wolf - Sharp in fifth win Wolf made 28 saves in Monday's 3-1 win over the Kings.
Impact The 23-year-old nearly recorded his first career shutout, but Trevor Moore just got the puck across the goal line late in the third period on a mad scramble around the Calgary crease before Wolf's glove batted it back out of the cage. Wolf may be on the verge of emerging from a timeshare with Dan Vladar and taking over the No. 1 job for the Flames -- he's started three of the last four games, going 2-0-1 with a 2.27 GAA and .923 save percentage to begin the month of November.
