Impact Vlasic snapped an eight-game point drought with a helper on Ryan Donato's third-period tally. The 22-year-old Vlasic hasn't shown a ton of offense with 12 points over 55 appearances, but he's been steady defensively. The blueliner has added 48 shots on net, 107 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating -- solid numbers while playing for a team that's getting heavily outscored on a near-nightly basis.

Connor Bedard - Generates assist in loss Bedard posted an assist, four shots on goal, two blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Impact Bedard has cooled off since a hot return from a jaw injury. His helper Saturday was his second point over the last five games, though the Blackhawks have just seven goals in that span. The 18-year-old phenom is up to 41 points, 140 shots on net and a minus-31 rating through 47 appearances. There's not much to like about the Blackhawks' roster, but Bedard is a clear bright spot and will be for years to come.

Ryan Donato - Goal, assist in loss Donato scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and logged three hits in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Impact Donato earned his first multi-point effort since Dec. 19 in this contest. The 27-year-old has bounced around the lineup a bit, but he's been on the first line recently, giving him a little upside while playing alongside Connor Bedard. Donato has 18 points, 106 shots on net, 67 hits and a minus-19 rating through 57 appearances. He's worth a look in deep fantasy formats as long as he holds onto a top-line role.

Philipp Kurashev - Factors on both goals in loss Kurashev scored a goal on three shots, dished an assist and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Impact Kurashev reached the 10-goal mark late in the first period and then set up a Ryan Donato marker in the third. The 24-year-old Kurashev ended February on a four-game drought, but he's generally been productive relative to the rest of the Blackhawks since he's playing on a line with Connor Bedard. For the season, Kurashev has 34 points (10 on the power play), 98 shots on net and a minus-34 rating through 54 appearances.

Arvid Soderblom - Struggles in loss Soderblom allowed four goals on 30 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Blue Jackets. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.
Impact Soderblom is 0-12-1 over his last 14 appearances, with his last win coming Nov. 24 versus the Maple Leafs. The 24-year-old goalie struggled in Saturday's battle between last-place teams -- the matchups don't get much better than that. Soderblom is at 2-18-1 with a 3.97 GAA and an .876 save percentage through 23 outings this season. Petr Mrazek will handle the bulk of the goaltending duties for the Blackhawks, and Soderblom should likely be avoided in virtually all fantasy formats. Soderblom could play again soon with the Blackhawks set for a road back-to-back with stops in Colorado on Monday and Arizona on Tuesday.

Impact Soderblom is winless over his last 13 appearances, posting a record of 0-11-1 with a 3.97 GAA and an .875 save percentage over that span. Through 22 outings overall in 2023-24, he has a 2-17-1, 3.97 GAA and .875 save percentage. The Blue Jackets rank 23rd offensively with 2.90 goals per game, so they're typically a favorable matchup for goaltenders, but Soderblom's struggles make it hard for fantasy managers to trust him under any circumstances.
