Nick Lardis - Agrees to entry-level contractLardis signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Chicago on Wednesday, per Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago. The deal will begin with the 2024-25 campaign.
ImpactLardis has 29 goals and 50 points in 37 contests with OHL Brantford this season. He was selected by Chicago with the No. 67 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft. Lardis has enough offensive potential to give him the potential to someday have significant relevance in fantasy circles. However, he's probably not going to feature in the NHL anytime soon.

ImpactHolmstrom broke a 1-1 tie midway through the third period, punching a loose puck past Petr Mrazek for the eventual game-winner in a 2-1 Islanders victory. It's the first goal since Feb. 20 for Holmstrom -- he came into Tuesday's matchup with just three assists in his last 15 contests. Overall, the 22-year-old winger is up to 14 goals and 23 points through 70 games in a bottom-six role.

ImpactHorvat broke through against Petr Mrazek early in the third period, one-timing a Mathew Barzal feed on the power play to tie the game 1-1.
