Impact Adam Larsson was assessed a five-minute major and a game misconduct for elbowing Tanev early in the third period. The 34-year-old Tanev played four shifts following the hit before being forced to leave the game for good. He will be evaluated Sunday to determine his status. Dallas is off until Wednesday against Edmonton, so Tanev has some time to recover.

Impact Lindell snapped an eight-game point drought with the helper on Roope Hintz's empty-netter. The 29-year-old Lindell has been a model of consistency, posting between 23 and 27 points in five of the last seven seasons, with one of the exceptions being the 56-game 2020-21 campaign. The assist snapped a three-game dry spell for Stankoven, who has quieted down after a loud run of offense following his NHL debut in February.
