Impact Wedgewood figures to serve as the No. 1 option against the Penguins on Friday after Jake Oettinger was already confirmed as the starter. The Stars don't have an immediate back-to-back on the schedule, so it's not immediately clear when Wedgewood might get his next start.

Impact Lundkvist needed stitches when he was cut in the face during the Stars 5-2 win over Arizona on Wednesday. He picked up a pair of assists in the contest, after being a healthy scratch the previous four contests. Lundkvist has two goals and 17 points in 47 games this season.

Wont play Friday Hakanpaa (lower body) will not be available versus the Penguins on Friday, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Impact Hakanpaa will be on the shelf for his second consecutive contest due to his lower-body issue. The 31-year-old Finn is stuck in a 23-game goal drought during which he managed just 23 shots to go with four assists. Even once cleared to play, Hakanpaa is far from a lock for the lineup and could find himself a periodic healthy scratch.

In goal Friday Oettinger will get the starting nod at home against the Penguins on Friday, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Impact Oettinger has played in eight of the Stars' last 10 outings, posting a 5-3-0 record with a 3.49 GAA and .862 save percentage. With just four more victories, the 25-year-old netminder will reach the 30-win threshold for the third consecutive campaign despite sporting a career-worst GAA (3.02).

Nabs helper Wednesday Faksa recorded an assist and two hits in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Coyotes.

Impact Faksa has enjoyed a solid March with three goals and two assists over eight games. Competition for fourth-line minutes is set to get tougher with Tyler Seguin (lower body) back in action -- Ty Dellandrea was scratched Wednesday but Faksa has also sat out at times this year. The 30-year-old Faksa has 16 points, 56 shots on net, 83 hits and 38 blocked shots over 62 contests.

Posts helper in win Tanev notched an assist and two PIM in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Coyotes.

Impact Tanev has picked up two points over seven outings with the Stars since he was traded from the Flames in late February. The defenseman continues to hold a top-four role and could see heavier usage as long as Jani Hakanpaa (lower body) is out. Tanev has 16 points, a plus-19 rating, 179 blocked shots and 48 shots on net through 63 appearances this season.

Impact Suter has a helper in each of the last two contests after going 12 games without a point. The 39-year-old's chances on offense are likely to remain limited in a third-pairing role with virtually no power-play time. Suter has struggled with 16 points through 70 outings on the year, adding 97 blocked shots, 74 hits, 87 shots on goal and a plus-11 rating.

Impact Marchment helped out on Tyler Seguin's second-period tally, which was the game-winner. With four points over the last six games, Marchment is heating up again. The 28-year-old should benefit from Seguin returning to the lineup on the second line, which was quite effective for the Stars earlier in the campaign. Marchment has earned his first 50-point season (19 goals, 31 helpers) with 125 shots on net, 99 hits, 46 PIM and a plus-21 rating over 69 outings.

Impact Harley set up a Jason Robertson tally in the third period. With four points over his last three games, Harley has bounced back nicely from a swoon in early March. The 22-year-old defenseman is up to 39 points, 128 shots on net, 115 blocked shots, 51 hits and a plus-18 rating over 67 appearances.

Impact Duchene has just three helpers over eight games in March. The good news is Tyler Seguin returned Wednesday, giving Duchene his preferred right wing for the first time in a month. Those two, along with Mason Marchment, were a force for a large chunk of the season and should be able to drive offense with the Stars competing for the top of the Central Division. Duchene is at 59 points, 149 shots on net, 41 blocked shots and a plus-14 rating through 68 appearances.

Snaps slump with helper Hintz notched an assist and two shots on goal in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Coyotes.

Impact Lost in Logan Stankoven-mania was Hintz's four-game point drought, which the veteran snapped with a helper on a Jason Robertson tally in the third period. Hintz has been a little quieter on offense this season with 57 points through 68 outings. It's still strong production, but he's likely to miss the 70-point mark for the first time in three years. He's added 153 shots on net and a plus-23 rating in a top-line role.

Impact This was Smith's third straight game with a goal, an impressive run for a fourth-line winger. The 34-year-old reached the 10-goal mark with his insurance tally in the third period. He's up to 16 points, 99 shots on net, 43 hits, 25 PIM and a plus-1 rating through 64 appearances. With Tyler Seguin (lower body) back in the mix, competition between Smith, Radek Faksa, Sam Steel and Ty Dellandrea for fourth-line minutes is likely to increase again.

Impact Stankoven had been playing on an emergency recall, but that switched to a normal recall following Tyler Seguin's return from a lower-body injury. This may mean less paper transactions for Stankoven going forward, cementing what's already known -- he's an NHL-ready forward. He's got a point in each of the last two games and he's up to six goals, four assists and 31 shots on net through 12 outings overall.

His recent surge has the 34-year-old at 46 points, 131 shots on net, 93 hits and 41 PIM through 70 appearances this season.

Robertson has points in nine of his last 10 outings and multi-point performances in four of his last six. The 24-year-old winger is up to 24 goals and 70 points through 70 games this season.

While it's been an inconsistent year overall for Oettinger, he remains one of the safer fantasy options down the stretch. Dallas is back in action Friday at home versus the Penguins.

Impact Lundkvist was impressive over 14:14 of ice time with two assists, four shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots prior to his injury. The 23-year-old was in the lineup because Jani Hakanpaa (lower body) was unable to play Wednesday. Lundkvist has had trouble getting in the lineup, but it appears he's avoided a more serious injury. He should be considered day-to-day ahead of Friday's game versus the Penguins.
