Impact Smith checked back into the lineup for Matt Dumba in this contest. The 35-year-old Smith has most often been a healthy scratch this season, sitting out eight of the Stars' 14 games so far. He's collected two assists, three shots on net, 10 hits, five blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over his six appearances, filling a third-pairing role when in the lineup.

Esa Lindell - Two assists in big win Lindell provided a pair of assists and went plus-4 in Monday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
Impact The Stars shuffled things up on defense, with Lindell joining fellow Finn Miro Heiskanen on the top pairing. At least for Monday's game, it worked beautifully -- Lindell helped out on one of Heiskanen's tallies as well as a Logan Stankoven goal in a six-goal first period. The 30-year-old Lindell has kicked his offense up a notch with six points over his last six games, which represents all of his scoring so far this season. He's added 22 shots on net, 29 blocked shots, 12 hits and a plus-6 rating through 14 appearances.

Tyler Seguin - Finds twine on power play Seguin scored a power-play goal on two shots in Monday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
Impact Seguin has scored in two of the last three games. The 32-year-old forward is up to seven goals, 11 points, 19 shots on net and a plus-9 rating over 10 outings as part of the Stars' second line, which has somewhat frequently looked like the best trio for the team. While he's managing a lower-body injury that could keep him out of games during back-to-back sets, Seguin looks like a must-play option when he's able to suit up.

Wyatt Johnston - Nets power-play marker Johnston scored a power-play goal on eight shots in Monday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
Impact Johnston started the season on a five-game point streak, but this was just his second point over the last nine contests. The 21-year-old has seven points, 38 shots on net, nine hits and nine blocked shots over 14 appearances. He was on the third line with Jamie Benn and Logan Stankoven in this game, though Johnston has also found success when playing on the top line. Given his recent slump, Johnston is an excellent buy-low candidate.

Logan Stankoven - Contributes goal in blowout win Stankoven scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
Impact Stankoven has two goals and two assists over five contests in November. The 21-year-old has yet to be held off the scoresheet in consecutive contests, earning three goals, 10 assists, 40 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 14 appearances. Stankoven has found success both on the first line and the third line and continues to be part of the power-play mix, so he should keep putting up strong scoring numbers.

Miro Heiskanen - Lights lamp twice against Pens Heiskanen scored his first two goals of the season in Monday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
Impact The 25-year-old blueliner struck twice in the first period as the Stars put the game away early and took a 6-0 lead into the first intermission. Heiskanen was held off the scoresheet through the first seven games of 2024-25, but he's since woken up and has six points in his last seven contests.

Matt Duchene - Three points in Monday's rout Duchene scored an even-strength goal and added two power-play assists in Monday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
Impact The 33-year-old center opened the scoring just 2:33 into the first period, and the Stars went on to score five more times before the first intermission. Duchene has six multi-point performances in his last nine games, racking up seven goals and 15 points over that stretch as he sets his sights on his first point-a-game campaign since 2021-22.

Mason Marchment - Erupts for five points Marchment scored an even-strength goal and added four assists, two on the power play, in Monday's 7-1 rout of the Penguins.
Impact Incredibly, it wasn't a career-best performance for the 29-year-old winger, as Marchment had a six-point night against the Blue Jackets on Jan. 31, 2022. It was a season-best effort though, and Marchment snapped a four-game point drought with the offensive eruption. He's piled up an impressive three goals and 13 points in 13 appearances to begin the season, but Marchment has been very hit or miss -- most of his production has come in four multi-point games, while he's been held off the scoresheet completely in seven others.

Jake Oettinger - Cruises to seventh win Oettinger stopped 20 shots in Monday's 7-1 win over the Penguins.
Impact The only suspense on the night was whether Oettinger would get his second shutout of the season, as the Stars scored six times in the first period to salt the game away. The 25-year-old netminder has been alternating strong starts with shakier ones of late, but on the season he's still 7-3-0 with a 2.43 GAA and .914 save percentage in 10 outings.

Jake Oettinger - Slated to start Monday Oettinger is expected to defend the road net Monday versus Pittsburgh, per Mike Heika of the Stars' official site.
Impact Oettinger will get a chance to rebound after being pulled from Saturday's 4-1 loss to Winnipeg in the second period. He has a 6-3-0 record with a 2.60 GAA and a .910 save percentage through nine appearances this season. Pittsburgh sits 18th in the league with 2.88 goals per game in 2024-25.
