Esa Lindell - Nets rare power-play goalLindell scored a power-play goal in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Blues.
ImpactLindell was on the ice near the end of a power play and was able to cash in for the Stars' second goal. The tally ended an eight-game point drought for the defenseman, and it was his first contribution with the man advantage since the 2021-22 campaign. Lindell plays more of a shutdown role and is unlikely to challenge Miro Heiskanen or Thomas Harley for power-play time moving forward. This season, Lindell is at four goals, 11 assists, 65 shots on net, 104 blocked shots, 34 hits and a plus-14 rating over 49 appearances.

Jordan Binnington - Takes tough loss SaturdayBinnington made 17 saves in Saturday's 2-0 loss to the Stars.
ImpactWhile he wasn't overly busy, Binnington had to deal with a number of good scoring chances by Dallas, and he made only one real mistake. Midway through the first period, Evgenii Dadonov got behind the St. Louis defense after a seeing-eye redirected pass from Jason Robertson, and Binninton's stick slipped out of his hand on a poke-check attempt, giving Dadonov time and room to jam the puck under the goalie's pad. Binnington has had an up-and-down January, going 3-4-0 in seven starts with a 2.62 GAA and .904 save percentage.
