Impact Danielson is a highly-touted prospect -- the 20-year-old was the No. 9 overall pick by the Red Wings in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. The right-shot center will continue his upwards trajectory with AHL Grand Rapids in 2024-25, but he could make his debut with the big club at some point during the campaign.

Eemil Viro - Notches assist in win Viro produced an even-strength assist in Tuesday's 2-1 exhibition win against Pittsburgh.

Impact Viro helped out on Amadeus Lombardi's game-tying tally in the second period. Viro was drafted in the third round of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft by Detroit. The 22-year-old will likely spend the entirety of the upcoming campaign with AHL Grand Rapids.

Amadeus Lombardi - Pots goal in win Lombardi scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 preseason win against the Penguins.

Impact Lombardi will begin the season with AHL Grand Rapids. The 21-year-old was a fourth-round selection by Detroit in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The left-shot center registered 26 points in 70 regular-season games with the Griffins in 2023-24.

The 29-year-old went 9-5-2 with an .892 save percentage and a 3.55 GAA in 19 regular-season appearances in 2023-24.

Impact Talbot is slated to play the first two periods, and Sebastian Cossa will enter the game in the third frame. The 37-year-old Talbot posted a 27-20-6 record with a 2.50 GAA and a .913 save percentage in 54 regular-season appearances with the Kings in 2023-24. He is battling with Alex Lyon and Ville Husso for Detroit's No. 1 goalie role at training camp.

Husso's next chance to draw into preseason action is Monday against the Sabres.
