Ville Husso - Narrowly loses to FlyersHusso (lower body) stopped 34 of 36 shots in a 3-1 loss to Philadelphia on Sunday.
ImpactHusso missed Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Islanders because of the injury. Detroit had a 1-0 lead heading into the first intermission of Sunday's contest, but Husso surrendered two goals on nine shots in the second. Philadelphia's final marker was scored on an empty net. The 28-year-old goaltender has a 23-16-6 record, 2.93 GAA and .904 save percentage in 46 outings this season. Although he couldn't beat the Flyers, the contest was still a big improvement over his previous two starts, where he posted a 5.36 GAA and an .828 save percentage.

David Perron - Ends three-game point droughtPerron found the back of the net in Detroit's 3-1 loss to Philadelphia on Sunday.
ImpactPerron opened the scoring early in the first period, but the Red Wings failed to build off that lead. He has 16 goals and 39 points in 63 contests this season. Perron was held off the scoresheet over his previous three games.

Ross Johnston - Healthy scratch once againJohnston was a healthy scratch as the Islanders defeated the Red Wings 4-1 on Saturday.
ImpactJohnston had played in five of the previous six games before Saturday. He had zero points and 23 penalty minutes in those five games. Johnston only has two assists in 16 games this season. He is only used when the team feels they need a physical presence. In his last game, Johnston wasn't afraid to drop the gloves with Ryan Reaves of the Wild, one of the best fighters in the NHL. That bout did not go well for Johnston, who was lucky that his face shield stopped a couple of fists from landing on their intended target.
