Anthony Beauvillier - Tallies again WednesdayBeauvillier scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
ImpactBeauvillier has a goal in consecutive contests to shake off a six-game slump. The 27-year-old winger started Wednesday's game on the top line, though head coach Mike Sullivan has made a lot of in-game adjustments with his forward groups. Beauvillier is likely best suited for middle-six usage given his 12:54 of ice time per game, and he's collected five goals, one assist, 44 shots on net and 23 hits over 18 outings this season.

Bryan Rust - Scores in overtime lossRust scored a goal on four shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
ImpactRust has two points and nine shots on net over three contests since he returned from a lower-body injury. He's played primarily on the second line in that span, though the Penguins' forward trios have been in a blender at times this season. Rust is up to four goals, six points, 33 shots on net, 10 hits and a minus-8 rating over 11 appearances.

Vladimir Tarasenko - Provides assist WednesdayTarasenko registered an assist and four shots on goal in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins.
ImpactTarasenko set up Jonathan Berggren's tally in the second period. The helper snapped a seven-game slump for Tarasenko, who continues to see a limited role on the third line and second power-play unit. The winger has just four points with 23 shots on net, six hits, seven blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 14 appearances this season, so it doesn't look like he'll be much of a fantasy force.

Jeff Petry - Nabs assist in overtime winPetry logged an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins.
ImpactPetry has a pair of helpers over his last six outings, accounting for all of his offense this season. The 36-year-old defenseman isn't a lock for the Red Wings' lineup each game, but he appears to have a bit more job security than Justin Holl or Albert Johansson. Petry has added 14 hits, 21 blocked shots, six shots on net and a minus-2 rating across 11 appearances.

Jonatan Berggren - Nets first goal of seasonBerggren scored a goal on three shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins.
ImpactBerggren opened the scoring a minute into the second period. The 24-year-old forward has had some trouble generating points in a bottom-six role this season, but he's had looks on offense. He's at two points, 30 shots on net and a minus-1 rating through 15 appearances. Berggren has averaged 13:23 of ice time per game, including 1:11 on the power play, so his offense should improve over time.

Alex Nedeljkovic - Falls to Wings in OTNedeljkovic stopped 28 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
ImpactBoth Detroit goals came less than five minutes apart early in the second period, but the 28-year-old netminder kept his focus and earned the Penguins a point before finally giving up the winner in OT to Simon Edvinsson. Nedeljkovic hasn't recorded a win in four straight appearances, and on the season he sports a 2-3-3 record in nine outings with a 3.22 GAA and .884 save percentage. Even with Tristan Jarry back in the NHL, Nedeljkovic still seems to have a tenuous hold on the No. 1 job in net for Pittsburgh.
