Starting in Ottawa Levi will defend the road net Sunday against the Senators, per Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News.

Impact Levi is coming off a 21-save effort in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to Boston. In 16 appearances this season, he has provided a 7-5-2 record with a 3.31 GAA and an .889 save percentage. The Senators sit 10th in the league with 3.39 goals per contest this campaign.

Buried by Boston power play Levi stopped 21 shots in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Bruins.

Impact Boston's final three goals all came on the power play, and Levi had little chance on any of them -- Charlie Coyle's second tally of the night even deflected in off Erik Johnson's skate. It's Levi's first regulation loss since Nov. 14, and the 22-year-old netminder has put together a solid December with a 2.77 GAA and .906 save percentage while going 4-1-1 over seven appearances.

Taking on Toronto Levi will guard the home goal against the Maple Leafs on Thursday, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.

Impact Levi struggled in his last start Tuesday against the Blue Jackets, surrendering four goals on 18 shots before being replaced by Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in the second period of the eventual 9-4 loss. Levi will attempt to shake off that poor performance and get back in the win column in a home matchup with a Toronto team that's averaging 3.31 goals per game on the road this campaign, ninth in the NHL.

Impact Levi was recalled from AHL Rochester on Tuesday as Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen is out with an illness. Levi started the season with the Sabres, going 3-4-1 with a 3.73 GAA and .876 save percentage and was sent to the minors nine days ago to get some confidence.
