Two points in Wednesday's loss Guenther scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 6-2 loss to the Panthers.

Impact Both points came in garbage time in the third period, and did little other than spoil Sergei Bobrovsky's shutout bid. Guenther has been productive since his early January promotion from AHL Tuscon, and through nine NHL games this season he's collected three goals and six points. The ninth overall pick in the 2021 Draft has worked his way onto Arizona's top power-play unit, and after demonstrating he has little left to learn in the minors -- he racked up 10 goals and 28 points in 29 games for Tuscon this season -- Guenther could be up for good this time around.

Impact Guenther went four contests without a point prior to Saturday. The 20-year-old winger has carved out a middle-six role during his stay in the NHL, though he was listed on the fourth line Saturday. He can't afford too many prolonged droughts since he is waivers-exempt and easily reassigned to AHL Tucson if his play slumps. Guenther has four points, 16 shots and four PIM over seven appearances.

One of each Tuesday Guenther scored a goal on five shots and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Bruins.

Impact Guenther has hit the ground running since his recall, posting three points, eight shots on net and an even plus-minus rating over two contests. The 20-year-old's stay in the NHL was expected to be a short one, but he's at least making the decision to send him back to AHL Tucson a tough one. Guenther should continue to see middle-six minutes and power-play time as long as he remains with the Coyotes.

Impact Guenther was recalled Saturday for extra forward depth with Jason Zucker suspended and Zach Sanford getting claimed off waivers by Chicago. The 20-year-old Guenther is not expected to stay in the NHL long-term this time around, but he made a good impression anyway by scoring the Coyotes' second goal. He had 14:55 of ice time in his season debut at the top level. The winger had 15 points in 33 contests as a rookie in 2022-23, and it won't be long before he's a full-time presence in Arizona.

Emergency recall from AHL Guenther was recalled from AHL Tucson on Saturday, per CapFriendly.com.

Impact Guenther played 33 games with the Coyotes last season as a 19-year-old, scoring six times while adding nine assists. The Coyotes assigned him to the AHL before the start of the 2023-24 season and he has been a scoring star, tallying 10 goals while adding 18 assists in 29 games. He is slated to start on the second line, alongside Jack McBain and Matias Maccelli and don't be surprised if Guenther sees plenty of time on the power play.

Impact Guenther, the ninth-overall pick in 2021, played 33 games with Arizona last season, tallying six goals and 15 points before he was reassigned to the WHL. The 20-year-old winger will start the 2023-24 campaign with AHL Tucson, though he should eventually work his way into the Coyotes lineup.
