Zach Hyman - Reaches 20-goal mark Hyman scored a goal on four shots, dished an assist, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Sharks.
Impact Hyman scored midway through the first period after setting up Ryan McLeod's goal a minute in. The goal was Hyman's eighth in December and his 20th of the campaign, making him the sixth player in the league to score 20 times this season. The winger is up to 33 points, 117 shots on net, 30 PIM and a plus-10 rating through 31 outings as a stable scorer in the Oilers' top six.

Stuart Skinner - Shuts out Sharks Skinner posted a 25-save shutout in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Sharks.
Impact The Oilers were all over rookie goalie Magnus Chrona in the first period, allowing Skinner to cruise to the win. Skinner has won five of his seven outings in December, and this was his third game with one goal against or less in that span. He's up to 13-9-1 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.91 GAA and an .891 save percentage through 24 appearances. The Oilers have a back-to-back up next with games in Los Angeles on Saturday and in Anaheim on Sunday, so Skinner and Calvin Pickard are likely to split the starts.
