Mattias Janmark - Earns helper Thursday Janmark posted an assist, four shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Jets.

Impact Janmark is starting to find his way on offense with a point in each of his last two games. The 30-year-old's surge isn't likely to last -- outside of a bump up to the top six when Zach Hyman missed Tuesday's game with an illness, Janmark has been a bottom-six fixture when healthy. Janmark is at two points, 13 shots on net, 12 hits and a minus-4 rating through 12 outings overall.

Cody Ceci - Helpers in consecutive games Ceci recorded an assist, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Jets.

Impact Ceci has a helper in each of the last two games after going four contests without a point. With Evan Bouchard's defensive struggles, Ceci has joined Darnell Nurse on the top pairing to form a shutdown duo. Ceci has six helpers, 26 shots on net, 26 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating through 22 outings this season.

Evan Bouchard - On eight-game point streak Bouchard notched a power-play assist and six shots on goal in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Jets.

Impact Bouchard has two goals and eight helpers over his eight-game point streak, and he's logged at one power-play point in each of the last five contests. That run has helped to offset some of his defensive woes, though the Oilers are playing better hockey as a team as new head coach Kris Knoblauch takes control. Bouchard has 22 points (12 on the power play), 70 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 22 appearances.

Impact McDavid set up Leon Draisaitl's go-ahead goal with 2:13 left in the contest. While it wasn't a multi-point effort, McDavid extended his point streak to six games. In that span, he has four goals and 12 assists, and he's racked up six power-play helpers over the last four games. The 26-year-old has 29 points, 56 shots on net, 27 hits and a minus-4 rating through 20 contests overall, but it's his recent play that's most encouraging after the Oilers' difficult start to the campaign.

Impact The Oilers didn't have anything on the scoreboard until Nurse's goal at 13:11 of the third period, which tied the game at 1-1. It was his first tally since Nov. 9, and he had four assists over the nine games between his goals. With the Oilers playing better hockey over the last week, Draisaitl could quickly get back into the form that made him an early-first-round pick in fantasy drafts this fall. Nonetheless, the 24-year-old has remained in a middle-six role this season, most often as the third-line center.
