Sam Gagner - Earns power-play assist Gagner notched a power-play assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Canucks.
Impact Gagner set up a Mattias Ekholm tally at 6:42 of the first period. With three points in as many games since signing to rejoin the Oilers at the start of November, Gagner has at least tried to help the team amid its early struggles. He's added eight shots on net, five hits and a plus-2 rating while seeing middle-six minutes and some power-play time. Gagner has some experience as a power-play specialist, but playing on the second unit in Edmonton is unlikely to provide much of a meaningful boost to his production.

Impact Foegele snapped a four-game point drought when he set up a Leon Draisaitl tally in the second period. While Foegele can be productive in short stretches when he sees top-six minutes, he's unlikely to help much on offense from the third line. The 27-year-old winger has three goals, two assists, 34 shots on net, nine hits and a minus-7 rating through 11 appearances.

Impact Kane helped out on a Mattias Ekholm tally in the first period. With two goals and four helpers over his last four games, Kane has been one of the few positives for the slumping Oilers. The winger has three goals, six helpers, 45 hits, 33 shots on net, 24 PIM and a minus-6 rating through 11 contests overall. He remains a solid fantasy option for managers in formats that reward his heavy playing style.

Impact Ekholm opened the scoring at 6:42 of the first period, though the Canucks tallied three times over 3:22 to take a 3-1 lead into the intermission. The goal was Ekholm's first of the campaign, and he's earned two of his three points so far on the power play despite playing on Edmonton's little-used second unit. Impact Draisaitl brought the Oilers within a goal in the second period, but they stalled out on offense after his tally. The 28-year-old also earned a misconduct penalty as the Oilers' frustrations spilled over in the third period. The goal was Draisaitl's first in eight contests, though he had six helpers in that span. The superstar forward has five tallies, 14 points, 35 shots on net and 20 PIM through 11 contests, which is a solid pace for most players but a bit disappointing after Draisaitl put up 52 goals and 128 points last year.

Stuart Skinner - Can't slow down Canucks Skinner stopped 30 of 36 shots in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Canucks.
Impact Skinner was left in there for the full game Monday, though there's some blame to go around for the crooked numbers on his stat line. The 25-year-old had a couple of rough plays, but his defense also struggled as the Oilers' ugly first month of 2023-24 continued. Skinner is at a 1-4-1 record with a 3.99 GAA and an .856 save percentage through seven appearances (six starts). The Oilers will get a chance to play the only team worse than them in the league standings, the Sharks, on Thursday, but it could be Jack Campbell's turn to try to establish himself between the pipes.
