Impact Campbell came in after Skinner allowed a goal to Jack Eichel midway through the second period. The Golden Knights' offense backed down a bit with a big lead, but Campbell still put in a solid effort, allowing only a goal to Chandler Stephenson from in tight late in the middle frame. With 36 saves on 38 shots across two relief outings, Campbell's done fine when called upon this postseason. Skinner's been struggling lately, so it's unclear which of the Oilers' netminders will get the nod in Wednesday's Game 4.

Impact McLeod has been a solid source of supporting offense with four assists over his last five contests. He had the secondary helper on a Warren Foegele goal early in the first period Monday. McLeod has added seven shots on net, 21 hits and a minus-1 rating through playoff outings.

Impact Foegele got a slight deflection on a centering pass from Derek Ryan early in the first period. Impact Edmonton struck first, but Vegas rattled off five unanswered goals, with Skinner yielding four of them before Jack Campbell replaced him just over halfway into the second period. This poor outing came on the heels of Skinner's best playoff performance so far, a 30-save effort in a Game 2 win. The 24-year-old has given up at least four goals in three of his last four contests, so his hold on the starting job may be a bit more tenuous than it was at the start of the second round.

Stuart Skinner - Tending twine Monday Skinner will get the starting nod for Game 3 at home against Vegas on Monday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Impact After coughing up five goals in a Game 1 loss, Skinner bounced back by stopping 30 of 31 shots in Saturday's win to tie the series. He's now started all nine games this postseason despite his inconsistent performance. Skinner has registered a 3.32 GAA and an .895 save percentage through the first eight playoff contests.
