Pens three-year pact Portillo signed a three-year, $2.35 million contract with the Kings on Sunday, per PuckPedia.

Impact Portillo posted a 24-11-3 record with a 2.50 GAA and a .918 save percentage across 39 regular-season appearances for AHL Ontario in 2023-24. The 23-year-old netminder hasn't seen any NHL action yet. Portillo will likely spend most, if not all, of the 2024-25 campaign in the minors.

Impact Portillo will get his first taste of pro hockey during the 2023-24 campaign. He spent three years with the University of Michigan; Portillo posted an outstanding 2.14 GAA and .926 save percentage as a sophomore but those numbers fell flat in his junior campaign with a 3.00 and .908, respectively. The 23-year-old will likely spend most of the year at the AHL level.
