Exits Friday's contest Barkov suffered a lower-body injury Friday against the Ducks, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.
Impact Barkov took a big knee-on-knee hit near center ice during the third period Friday. He did not return after being helped off the ice. The 28-year-old will be considered questionable ahead of Monday's tilt with Edmonton until more information is available. Barkov has six goals, 17 points and a plus-14 rating through 16 games.

Montour had six goals and nine points in his first eight playoff games before his shoulder injury and managed to gut out the injury, picking up two goals and four points in his final 13 games of the Stanley Cup playoffs. He had offseason surgery and is finally healthy enough to return Friday.

Impact Ekblad looks set to make his season debut against the Ducks. Last season, the Ontario native managed 14 goals and 24 helpers, a significant drop in production from 2021-22 when he racked up 57 points. With the blueliner's return, he should see minutes with the man advantage after recording 19 of his 38 points last year on the power play.

Mike Reilly will likely draw into the lineup while Mahura is unavailable.
