Impact Gadjovich exited Wednesday's game versus the Lightning, but there was no additional update on his injury. The 25-year-old forward clearly isn't battling anything overly serious. He's set to make one last push to grab a fourth-line spot for the Panthers, who open their regular season Tuesday at home versus the Bruins.

Impact Kiersted collected four goals, 15 points and 53 PIM in 57 regular-season appearances in 2023-24. The 26-year-old defenseman didn't log any games at the NHL level last season and might spend all of the upcoming campaign in the minors as well.

Tending twine Saturday Bobrovsky will defend the visiting crease versus LA in Quebec City on Saturday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Impact Bobrovsky will get in his final preseason game before Opening Night on Tuesday against the Bruins. Bobrovsky was outstanding last season, going 36-17-4 with a 2.37 GAA and a .915 save percentage in 58 regular-season appearances. He was 16-8 with a 2.32 GAA, leading the Panthers to the Stanley Cup in June. Look for a regression from the 36-year-old veteran, as it will hard to be repeat such a good season.

Impact Lockwood was dealing with an injury, but his placement on waivers suggests he's now healthy enough to play. During the 2023-24 regular season, the 26-year-old had an assist in 26 games with Florida as well as 12 goals and 24 points across 32 outings with AHL Charlotte. Lockwood is expected to head to the minors if he clears waivers, but Florida might summon him at various times during 2024-25.

Impact Given this update, Sourdif shouldn't be expected to be in the lineup for Opening Night against the Bruins on Tuesday. Other than saying he's not close to returning, the team hasn't provided a ton of guidance as to when the 22-year-old center might be cleared to play. Once given the all-clear, Sourdif will likely be heading to the minors where he racked up 38 points in 58 regular-season contests last year.

Impact Nosek was injured Sept. 23 in a game versus Nashville, as he went hard into the boards after he was tripped. The 32-year-old veteran was competing for a spot on the fourth line. Nosek had a pair of goals and four assists in 36 regular-season games with the Devils last season.

Impact Leonard saw action in only one preseason game and was -2 with nary a point. He played six NHL regular-season games last season with Arizona, managing one goal. The 26-year-old spent most of the 2023-24 campaign with AHL Tucson, picking up 12 goals and 20 assists in 63 regular-season appearances.

Impact Bjornfot was a waiver claim by the Panthers back in March, serving as an emergency depth option for the organization during its Stanley Cup run. Overall, the 23-year-old defenseman played in a meager four regular-season games last year for the Golden Knights, Kings and Panthers. At this point, assuming he clears waivers, Bjornfot could struggle for regular NHL minutes next year as well.

Impact Asplund is on a one-year, two-way contract, so this is no surprise. The 26-year-old had 44 points in 67 AHL games with Charlotte in 2023-24. He last played at the NHL level in 2022-23, scoring twice while adding six assists in 46 games split between Buffalo and Nashville. Asplund will be re-assigned to AHL Charlotte, if he clears waivers.

The 31-year-old is a veteran of 185 career NHL outings, collecting four goals, 27 points and 73 PIM.
