Impact The Panthers' offense was roaring, and Verhaeghe potted his team's first and last tallies of the day. Impact The big center had a helper in every period, including one on Sam Reinhart's game-winner in the third that gave Barkov's linemate a hat trick. While he hasn't scored a goal in nine straight games, Barkov has four multi-point performances in the last seven contests, a stretch in which he's amassed 13 assists.

Impact Three of his points came in the third period as the Panthers blew open a 4-4 tie. Tkachuk has caught fire, putting together a five-game point streak and piling up three goals and 11 points over that stretch as he shakes off a month-long slump. The 26-year-old still has a lot of work to do if he's going to reach 100 points for the third straight season, as he's got 35 points (eight goals, 27 helpers) through 39 contests, but given Tkachuk's talent and the loaded roster around him, it's not out of the question.

Impact Two of his goals came in the first period, and Reinhart then potted the eventual game-winner with the man advantage in the third. The 28-year-old might be the hottest goal-scorer in the league right now, finding the back of the net 11 times in the last nine games, and on the season he's racked up 28 tallies in 39 contests -- tied for second in the NHL with Nikita Kucherov's, and two goals back of league-leader Auston Matthews.

Impact The Panthers handed Bobrovsky a 3-0 lead in the first period, and the veteran netminder immediately coughed it up to begin the second, Florida wasn't fazed, and kept poring on the offense. Bob has won six straight starts, posting a 2.17 GAA and .920 save percentage during that stretch, and the surge has brought him up to 20 wins on the season, second in the NHL behind Alexandar Georgiev's 21.
