Inks three-year KHL contract Prosvetov signed a three-year contract with the KHL's CSKA, per Brennan Vogt of The-Rink.com on Thursday.

Impact Prosvetov posted a 3.16 GAA and an .895 save percentage in 11 regular-season contests with the Avalanche last season. He also had a 2.33 GAA and a .921 save percentage across 21 regular-season AHL outings with the Eagles. Prosvetov was a Group 6 unrestricted free agent this summer because he's 25 years old and has played fewer the 28 career NHL games.

Unlike Holm, the 25-year-old Prosvetov does have NHL experience, albeit limited, having played in 24 games for the Coyotes and Avalanche over the last four seasons. In those appearances, the backstop is 8-9-2 with a 3.70 GAA and a .881 save percentage. With Justus Annunen still under the weather, it appears the Avs want a move experience reserve option behind Alexandar Georgiev.

He's been serving as the Avalanche's backup goaltender because Pavel Francouz (groin) underwent surgery during the offseason and isn't expected to play in 2023-24. Impact Florida jumped out to a 3-0 lead before eight minutes had elapsed in the first period, but Colorado rallied to tie it with a hot start to begin the second.
