Impact Markstrom has won only once in his last eight starts, dropping to 14-13-7 with a 2.93 GAA and .891 save percentage. He has regressed substantially after going 37-15-9 with a 2.22 GAA and .922 save percentage last season. Markstrom will face the red-hot Rangers, who extended their winning streak to seven games Friday by erasing a three-goal deficit in Edmonton.

Impact Calgary gave the netminder a 3-1 lead early in the third period, but Markstrom wilted in the final minutes of regulation before getting beaten by Tim Stutzle in OT. It's the third time in his last four starts Markstrom has given up at least four goals, and since the beginning of January he's gone 2-4-3 with a rough 3.34 GAA and .879 save percentage.

Impact Markstrom allowed a pair of goals each to Filip Chytil and Mika Zibanejad in regulation before Alexis Lafreniere tallied the winner in overtime. Markstrom has been stuck in a slump since the beginning of January, falling to 0-3-2 with an .867 save percentage over his last six appearances.
