Impact Drysdale has played on the third pairing and second power-play unit since he returned from a 12-game absence due to an upper-body injury. His helper Tuesday was his first point in two contests since his return. Drysdale is at four points, 13 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating through 17 outings. He has a bit of scoring upside, but avoiding injuries will be critical for his success -- he's missed significant time in three straight years.

Prior to getting hurt, the blueliner was mired in an 11-game goal drought in action to an eight-game pointless streak. While he has reached the 30-point threshold once in his career, that was back in 2021-22 when he was with the Ducks, so fantasy players probably shouldn't be banking on getting a ton of offensive upside from Drysdale.

Impact Drysdale will miss his fourth straight game against Colorado on Monday. A timeline for his return remains unclear, but he is progressing slowly. Drysdale has one goal, two assists, 12 shots on net and 28 blocked shots across 15 outings this season. With Drysdale, Cam York (upper body) and Emil Andrae (undisclosed) unavailable, Philadelphia will have Erik Johnson and Helge Grans in the lineup versus the Avalanche.

Impact Drysdale will now have a full season with Philadelphia after being traded from Anaheim during the 2023-24 season. Between both clubs, Drysdale registered 10 points and a minus-20 rating in 34 regular-season contests. The 22-year-old will fill a top-four role and quarterback one of the Flyers' power-play units in 2024-25. Drysdale's career-high in points came in 2021-22 with Anaheim -- he logged 32 points in 81 regular-season outings during that campaign.
