Impact Huntington has never made an NHL appearance, having spent his entire professional career in the minors since turning pro back in 2019-20. At this point, the Pens have multiple forward options that are probably ahead of the 25-year-old undrafted center, so fantasy players shouldn't be expecting to see him play for Pittsburgh any time soon.

Signs two-way deal Huntington penned a one-year, two-way contract with Pittsburgh on Monday.

Impact Huntington is a career minor leaguer, having yet to make his NHL debut after spending the last five years in the minors. Undrafted coming out of the QMJHL, the 25-year-old center did put up decent numbers with AHL Hershey this past season, generating 16 goals and 17 assists in 67 regular-season outings. At this point, Huntington figures to be little more than an organizational depth piece to help the Baby Pens.

Cut from camp Washington released Huntington on Monday to AHL Hershey training camp.

Impact Huntington agreed an AHL contract with the Bears back in July for the 2023-24 season. He had been attending camp with the Capitals on a tryout basis. Huntington notched nine goals and 28 points in 51 contests last campaign with AHL Milwaukee.
