Impact They were his first of the season, and Edmundson looked every part the sniper on the first goal when he wired a one-timer from below the left circle as he slid on one knee. His second was a slapper from the point through traffic early in the third that stood as the winner. Edmundson doesn't have a reputation as a scorer - his career mark is seven goals and 20 points, set in 2019-20 with the Canes. But the Kings have had to redistribute some responsibility on the blue line with Drew Doughty (ankle) out long term. Posts rare helper in loss Edmundson recorded an assist in Game 3 against the Bruins on Wednesday, albeit in a 4-2 home loss.

Impact Edmundson rushed toward the attacking zone after John Tavares sent a crisp pass his way from center ice, and it led to a Matthew Knies goal courtesy of a Mitch Marner helper.
