Tallies in win
Andersson scored a goal on four shots in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Golden Knights.
Impact
Andersson struck at 17:23 of the first period, doubling the Kings' lead to 2-0 at the time. The Swede was playing in his first game since Feb. 16, as he had fallen out of favor with head coach Todd McLellan. Andersson will still need to show consistency to stay in the lineup, as he's produced a mere two goals and 15 shots on net through 12 outings overall.

Surfaces on active roster
Andersson was promoted to the active roster Wednesday.
Impact
Andersson hasn't played an NHL game since Feb. 16, but this promotion could be a sign that he'll be in the lineup for Wednesday's road game versus the Golden Knights. The 22-year-old likely will skate in the bottom six if he's in.

Recalled for road trip
Andersson was recalled from AHL Ontario to the taxi squad Sunday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Impact
Andersson will travel with the big club on its two-game road trip to Vegas. While the 22-year-old hasn't proven much at the top level this year, he's accrued nine points through eight AHL apperances.

Will remain in Sweden
Andersson has decided to remain in Sweden for the 2020-21 campaign, Larry Brooks of the New York Post reports.
Impact
It's been a whirlwind of a year for Andersson. The seventh overall pick from the 2017 draft was sent to the AHL in November after notching just one assist in 17 games with the big club. He then formally requested a trade and left AHL Hartford, at which point he was suspended by the Rangers. The team then loaned Andersson to HV71 of the SHL, where he finished the campaign with 12 points in 15 games. At this point it's clear we won't be seeing the 21-year-old forward in the NHL until he's traded to another organization.
