Slated starter Saturday Ullmark is set to guard the home goal against Montreal in Saturday's preseason clash, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports. Impact Ullmark had a 22-10-7 record, 2.58 GAA and .915 save percentage in 40 regular-season appearances with Boston in 2023-24. He was fantastic with the Bruins, even winning the Vezina Trophy in 2022-23, but Ullmark was dealt to Ottawa over the summer, which is a squad looking to make the playoffs for the first time since 2017, so it remains to be seen if the 31-year-old netminder will be as effective with his new team. He did largely hold his own in Tuesday's exhibition action against the Canadiens, stopping 29 of 32 shots en route to a 4-3 victory.
