Impact Brown has played in 99 regular-season games at the NHL level for the Senators and Blues, so there could be some interest in picking him up off the waiver wire. In fact, with Corey Perry (knee) out until the end of October, it seems likely that Brown will be recalled from the minors, assuming he clears, ahead of Opening Night against the Avalanche on Oct. 7.

Impact Brown had 11 goals and 29 points in 33 regular-season outings with AHL Syracuse in 2024-25. The 27-year-old hasn't played in the NHL since 2022-23 and will probably spend most, if not all, of the upcoming season in the minors.

Impact Brown has been playing for AHL Syracuse on a minor-league deal but now will be eligible to be called up to the NHL roster. With the Crunch, the 26-year-old forward has notched seven goals and 12 helpers in 25 outings. The Bolts also placed Cam Atkinson on waivers Tuesday, so it's possible the team brings Brown up from the minors soon.
