Joining AHL club Morrison was cut from the Kraken's camp Friday.

Impact Morrison faced an uphill battle to make the NHL roster, and he fell well short of the mark. The 22-year-old will spend most of the 2024-25 campaign with AHL Coachella Valley. He was one of eight players trimmed from the Kraken's camp roster ahead of the opening of AHL training camps next week.

Impact Morrison will join Coachella Valley for its AHL playoff run. He's racked up 15 goals and 40 points through 60 minor-league appearances this year.

Inks three-year deal Morrison agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level contract with Seattle on Tuesday.

Impact Morrison split his OHL season between Hamilton and Ottawa, logging a combined 56 games in which he notched 40 goals and 54 assists. The 20-year-old center's deal will kick in next year, so he figures to close out the campaign in the minors on an amateur tryout contract.
