Phillip Danault - Slides power-play helper in win Danault notched a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Danault's strong March continues -- he has four goals and two assists over seven contests this month. The center helped out on a Pierre-Luc Dubois tally in the first period. Danault continues to see top-six usage as a strong two-way center. The 31-year-old has racked up 39 points, 142 shots on net, 69 hits, 52 blocked shots and a plus-13 rating over 66 appearances, giving him solid fantasy appeal in a variety of formats.

Adrian Kempe - Dishes pair of helpers Kempe notched two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Kempe has two goals and two assists over four games since he returned from an upper-body injury. The 27-year-old helped out on both of Anze Kopitar's first-period tallies Friday. Kempe is up to 55 points, 199 shots on net, 91 hits, 52 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 61 outings overall. He should continue to see top-line usage.

Quinton Byfield - Supplies two assists Friday Byfield recorded a pair of assists, three shots on goal, three hits and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Byfield set up both of Anze Kopitar's first-period tallies. This was Byfield's first multi-point effort in March -- he has a goal and two helpers over seven contests this month. While his scoring pace has dipped a bit, he remains in a top-line role. The 21-year-old has 19 goals, 30 helpers, 129 shots on net, 44 hits and a plus-17 rating across 64 appearances.

Jordan Spence - Two-point effort in win Spence scored a goal, dished a power-play assist, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Spence set up a Pierre-Luc Dubois goal in the first period before scoring one of his own in the second. The tally was Spence's first at the NHL level since 2021-22. He has three points over his last three games and 19 points, 64 shots on net, 51 hits, 45 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 55 contests overall.

Alex Laferriere - Picks up two points in win Laferriere scored a goal on four shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Laferriere is showing more offense in March with four points over his last seven games compared to just two goals over 11 outings in February. The 22-year-old winger continues to hold down a third-line role, and he's see a bit more power-play time on the second unit. Overall, the rookie has 10 goals, 21 points, 129 shots, 79 hits, 38 PIM and a minus-11 rating through 65 contests.

Pierre-Luc Dubois - One of each 500th career game Dubois scored a power-play goal on three shots, dished an assist, logged two hits, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Dubois opened the scoring 3:10 into the game and helped out on an Alex Laferriere goal just a couple of minutes later. This was Dubois' first multi-point effort since Feb. 20 -- he had just two points over the 11 contests in between. He reached the 30-point mark Friday, but this is on track to be the 25-year-old's worst full-length season as it took him 66 contests to get there. Friday also marked his 500th career NHL game.

Anze Kopitar - Scores twice Friday Kopitar scored a pair of goals, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact Kopitar had gone six games without a goal entering Friday, posting a modest three assists in that span. The 36-year-old had the Kings' third and fourth goals in the contest, giving him 20 tallies on the year. It's the 13th time in his career that he's reached the 20-goal mark. The center is up to 55 points, 110 shots on net, 57 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating over 66 appearances this season.

Cam Talbot - Shuts out Blackhawks Talbot posted a 28-save shutout in Friday's 5-0 win over the Blackhawks.
Impact The Kings stormed ahead 4-0 after the first period, making this a fairly easy win for Talbot. He has three shutouts on the year and 31 in his career. The 36-year-old goalie has been steady lately, allowing no more than three goals in any of his last 12 games, going 6-4-1 in that span. He's at 20-16-6 with a 2.43 GAA and a .917 save percentage over 43 outings. David Rittich will get the start Saturday versus the Stars, but it wouldn't be surprising to see Talbot get a chance to repeat his performance when the Kings host the Blackhawks on Tuesday.

David Rittich - Slated to start Saturday Rittich is expected to be between the pipes on the road for Saturday's clash with Dallas, Dennis Bernstein of The Fourth Period reports.
Impact Rittich is coming off a 26-save shutout performance against the Islanders on Monday. The 31-year-old backstop will take the second game of the Kings' back-to-back with Cam Talbot getting the nod versus Chicago on Friday. With another back-to-back around the corner, Rittich should see plenty of action for the time being.

Impact Talbot has regained the No. 1 job with the Kings, as he has started seven of the last eight games. Talbot is 3-3-1 with a sparkling 2.30 GAA and an impressive .926 save percentage. Overall, the 36-year-old is 19-16-6 with a 2.49 GAA and a .916 save percentage in 2023-24. Talbot will take on the Blackhawks, who are averaging 2.18 goals, 32nd and last in the NHL.
