ImpactIt was his 300th NHL game. Bunting has just 16 points in 32 games, but nine (three goals, six assists) of those and 25 shots have come in his last eight games. And four of the points in that span have come with the man advantage. Bunting can help right now, and who knows -- he could even keep this going for a bit. Remember, he put up 54 points last season between the Canes and Pens, and that included 19 points in 21 games once he arrived in Pennsylvania.

He won't push for a new career mark, but Gavrikov could flirt with 30 points this season. And a career-high in blocks -- he will approach 170 if he maintains this pace and stays healthy in the process.

Kuemper is a key driver in the Kings success.

ImpactIt was Kempe's 16th goal this season and 11th in 14 games since Nov. 13. It came off a wrist shot just outside the crease off a pass from Anze Kopitar from behind the net. Kempe has points in four of his last five outings (four goals, three assists) and 11 goals and eight assists in his last 16 games. Just three of those points came with the man advantage, but it's hard to quibble with his current excellence. Power-play points will come for Kempe.

ImpactIt was Ned's first game since Dec. 6. Nedeljkovic is just 5-5-3 in 13 starts, and his 3.26 GAA and .886 save percentage is queasy at best. He doesn't get enough playing time to become a viable fantasy asset, but it was still a nice night.

Rickard Rakell - Twelve points in last 10 gamesRakell scored a goal and added an assist in a 3-2 overtime win over the Kings.
ImpactHe tipped a shot from Erik Karlsson just under the crossbar at 1:44 of OT to seal the win. It was Rakell's team leading 14th goal. He has 12 points, including seven goals, in his last 10 games. Rakell has shaken off last season's malaise, and he's helping to make us all forget about that performance.
