Impact Joseph's three-game assist streak from Feb. 25 to March 1 was followed by a six-game drought on offense. That came to an end Sunday in a contest where 14 of the Blues' skaters were able to record a point, though his tally late in the second period was unassisted. He's up to four goals, 11 points, 63 shots on net, 101 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 49 appearances. Joseph's first season in St. Louis has largely been disappointing, especially when contrasted with his career-best 35-point campaign from 2023-24 with the Senators.

That's a higher level of performance than can be reasonably expected of the middle-six winger, but it's helped him avoid being a healthy scratch as he has at times this season. The 28-year-old has mostly seen bottom-six usage in 2024-25, and it's because he hasn't forced his way higher in the lineup. He's contributed a mere eight points with 49 shots on net, 78 hits and a minus-7 rating through 40 appearances. Most fantasy managers can do better when looking for a depth forward.

Playing time continues to slide Joseph has been scratched in five of the Blues' eight games since the holiday break, including Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Impact The competition for bottom-six minutes in St. Louis has been tight, and Joseph has not differentiated himself from other players. Alexandre Texier and Zachary Bolduc have also often been scratches, and those three players appear to be competing for one spot in the lineup for now. Joseph had failed to record a point in his last 17 outings, which certainly isn't helping his cause. He has four points, 31 shots on net, 43 hits and a minus-6 rating over 26 games.
