Impact Eyssimont has scored in consecutive games after being limited to just one assist over his first 18 appearances this season. Despite the lack of offense, he's been a fourth-line fixture, and he also saw 54 seconds of power-play time Wednesday. Eyssimont has three points, 40 shots on net, 24 PIM and 21 hits across 20 outings overall.

Tacks on goal Monday Eyssimont scored a goal on five shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 8-2 win over the Avalanche.

Impact This was his first goal and second point of the campaign, ending an 11-game slump. Eyssimont has been a bottom-six fixture since he made his season debut Oct. 15 after missing Opening Night. Impact Eyssimont is coming off a career year in 2023-24 during which he played in a career-best 81 games while also registering personal bests in goals (11), assists (14) and shots (149). The 28-year-old Colorado native should be in the mix for power-play minutes with the No. 2 group this season -- assuming his undisclosed injury doesn't sideline him for too long.

So close to Gordie Howe hat trick Eyssimont had a goal and an assist Thursday in a 7-4 victory over the Canadiens. He also picked up four PIM.

Impact His goal was pure determination and the epitome of never giving up. Eyssimont pushed the game to 2-1 in the first period when he drove the net and jammed the puck off Cayden Primeau's stick and up-and-over the netminder. And his PIM came in the third when he mistakenly thought that Arber Xhekaj was the cause of Brandon Hagel's injury and chased him down to throw fists. But Xhekaj was an innocent bystander when Steven Stamkos slammed an unsuspecting Hagel. It's a great demonstration of why Eyssimont is a fabulous teammate -- he stands up for his guys, and he came within a referee's discretion of a Gordie Howe hat trick. The goal was his 11th of the season.

Impact Eyssimont snapped a four-game skid when he assisted on a Mitchell Chaffee tally in the first period. With five points over 10 outings in March, Eyssimont has enjoyed his most productive month since November. The forward is up to 10 goals, 11 assists, 126 shots on net, 115 hits, 95 PIM and a plus-5 rating through 71 contests in a bottom-six role.

Impact Eyssimont isn't known for his offense -- it was his first goal in 16 games. But he does deliver some meathead stats, like 95 hits and 86 PIM, as well as 120 shots. Eyissimont doesn't deliver much fantasy value, but will make an impact on the ice.

Impact Eyssimont may not deliver fantasy points, but he's earned the trust of his coach. At age 27, Eyssimont is tracking toward is first-full season in the NHL, and he's two points from tying his career mark of 15 points which he set last season in stops in three cities (San Jose, Winnipeg and Tampa Bay). He could hit 25 points and 100 hits this season, but there's little fantasy value in this bottom-six workhorse.

Impact Eyssimont remains mired in an 18-game goal drought during which he has garnered 41 shots, five assists and 20 hits while averaging 12:33 of ice time. As long as the 27-year-old center continues to register over two shots per game, he should eventually mind the back of the net and break out of his slump.

Impact It was a highlight-reel snipe. Eyssimont split the Sens' D on a rush and roofed a backhand as he fell to the ice.
