Impact Hartman has a goal, eight shots on net and three hits through the first two games of the season. He's mainly played in a middle-six role so far, but he's a candidate to see more ice time for as long as Joel Eriksson Ek (upper body) is out of the lineup. Hartman had 45 points in 74 regular-season games in 2023-24, and he adds a bit of grit for fantasy purposes, though he's better at racking up PIM than hits.

Impact Boldy has registered at least one goal and one assist in back-to-back contests to open the season, and it's worth noting two of his points have come on the power play. The 23-year-old winger is coming off a career-best season in 2023-24 with 29 goals and 69 points, and he's not showing any signs of slowing down in his new campaign.

Impact Zuccarello has found the back of the net in back-to-back games, and the 37-year-old winger is enjoying a strong start to the campaign, one in which he figures to be a top contributor for the Wild once again. Zuccarello has recorded at least 60 points in three straight seasons, and while he had a down year as a scorer in 2023-24, he's turning things around in the early stages of this new campaign.

Impact Rossi didn't record a point in the season-opening win over the Blue Jackets on Thursday, but he made his presence felt on the ice Saturday by helping in goals scored by Mats Zuccarello and Kirill Kaprizov. Rossi notched 19 assists and 40 points as a rookie in 2023-24, and he figures to play a pivotal role for the Wild as part of their first line and their second power-play unit.

Kaprizov is up to four points across his first two outings of 2024-25, and all signs point to the 27-year-old winger having another stellar season after surpassing the 40-goal mark, and the 90-point plateau, in 2023-24.

Impact Fleury is playing in his final season before hanging up his skates, and he's expected to operate as Filip Gustavsson's backup throughout the campaign. Thus, the veteran netminder should return to his regular No. 2 role for Sunday's game against Winnipeg. However, the Wild are starting a seven-game road trip that will last until Nov. 1 on Sunday, meaning Fleury should return between the pipes sooner rather than later.
