David Spacek - Signs entry-level contractSpacek agreed to terms on a three-year, entry-level deal with Minnesota on Monday, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.
ImpactSpacek has racked up 10 goals and 36 assists through 49 games this season for QMJHL Sherbrooke. The 20-year-old blueliner should make the jump to the professional ranks next season but figures to spend a year or two developing in the minors with AHL Iowa.

Brandon Duhaime - Won't play against FlamesDuhaime (head) will not be in the lineup versus Calgary on Tuesday, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.
ImpactDuhaime will miss his second consecutive contest due to his head injury. In his previous seven contests, the 25-year-old winger managed three goals on 12 shots while averaging 11:13 of ice time. Even once given the all-clear, Duhaime is unlikely to offer more than mid-range fantasy value as a bottom-six forward. With a back-to-back on the schedule, it seems unlikely Duhaime will be cleared in time to play versus Winnipeg on Wednesday either, though he hasn't been officially ruled out for that game.

Jonas Brodin - Yet to resume skatingBrodin (lower body) still isn't skating, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports, which indicates he'll remain sidelined for a while longer.
ImpactBrodin has already been out of action for the Wild's last six contests due to his lower-body issue and looks no closer to a return to action. With just 11 points in 49 contests this season, the blueliner almost certainly will miss the 30-point threshold, a mark he achieved for the first time last season.

Jacob Markstrom - Starting in DallasMarkstrom will guard the road goal Monday against Dallas, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
ImpactMarkstrom is coming off a 30-save effort in Saturday's 3-0 loss to Minnesota. After going winless in his past five appearances, including one in relief, his record stands at 15-17-8 on the season with a 2.94 GAA and an .890 save percentage. The Stars rank 12th in the league this campaign with 3.30 goals per game.

Filip Gustavsson - Starting TuesdayGustavsson will patrol the home crease Tuesday against Calgary, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
ImpactGustavsson is coming off a 31-save shutout win over the Flames on Saturday. He has a 17-8-3 record this season with a 1.99 GAA and a .933 save percentage in 29 appearances. Calgary sits 20th in the league this campaign with 3.06 goals per game.

Gustav Nyquist - Still not skatingNyquist (upper body) hasn't begun skating yet but will travel with the team to meet his new teammates, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports Monday.
ImpactNyquist was originally ruled out for the remainder of the regular season, so fantasy players shouldn't be expecting him back until closer to the playoffs. Still, the fact that Minnesota traded for the winger should be a good indication they are at least expecting him to be ready to play at some point.

Nazem Kadri - Provides two assists vs. StarsKadri had two assists in Monday's 5-4 win over Dallas.
ImpactKadri has 21 goals and 47 points in 64 contests this season. His offensive pace is well behind that of 2021-22, when he finished with 28 goals and 87 points in 71 games. The 32-year-old has been fairly productive lately though, with six assists over his last seven outings.
