ImpactThe Predators recalled Stastney as Alexandre Carrier suffered an upper-body injury Thursday and will be out of action for six weeks. Stastney picked up his first NHL goal Nov. 24 versus St. Louis. Stastney had a goal and three assists in 10 games with AHL Milwaukee before his recall.

Ryan Hartman - Eligible to return SundayHartman has served his two-match ban and will be available to face Chicago on Sunday.

ImpactPrior to his suspension, Hartman was mired in a seven-game goalless streak during which he registered 17 shots and one assist. Considering the Blackhawks are allowing 3.71 goals per game (second most in the league), it could be a good opportunity for Hartman to rediscover his scoring touch. With Hartman in the lineup, Vinni Lettieri could be headed back to AHL Iowa.

ImpactGustavsson's shutout bid was ended by Juuso Parssinen early in the third period, but the goaltender still earned his second straight victory. He improved to 4-6-2 with a 3.46 GAA and an .891 save percentage in 13 contests this season. While Gustavsson's overall numbers still leave plenty to be desired, Marc-Andre Fleury has struggled too this year, so the No. 1 job is still wide open in Minnesota for either goaltender to snatch if they get hot.

ImpactMaroon found the back of the net early in the second period to extend the Wild's lead to 4-0. It was his third goal and 11th point in 21 games this season. He's already closing in on his 2022-23 total of 14 points in 80 contests with Tampa Bay last season, and that increase in production is likely thanks to him averaging 13:38 of ice time as a member of the Wild in 2023-24, up from 10:21 last year.

Connor Dewar - Leads Wild with hat trickDewar had a hat trick and an assist in Minnesota's 6-1 win over Nashville on Thursday.

ImpactThis wasn't just Dewar's first career hat trick, it was also the first multi-goal game he's ever recorded at the NHL level. Going into Thursday's contest, he had just 10 goals through 136 career outings, including two markers and an assist in 20 contests this year. In other words, he more than doubled his goal and point totals for the 2023-24 campaign in a single night. While it's a great story, Dewar serves primarily in a fourth-line role and rarely sees time on the power play, so unless that changes, the 24-year-old is still unlikely to be a significant offensive contributor this season.
