Josh Anderson - Gets revengeAnderson had two shots on net, one block, one hit and seven PIM in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.
ImpactIt didn't take Anderson long to seek revenge at Madison Square Garden against New York's Jacob Trouba, who had delivered a clean -- but vicious -- hit on Montreal defenseman Justin Barron five weeks ago at the Bell Centre. Anderson engaged Trouba at the 1:58 mark of the first period in an old-school hockey battle. Anderson was later whistled for a questionable roughing penalty in the second period that led to a Mike Zibanejad power-play goal that gave New York a 3-1 lead. The two infractions upped Anderson's season total to a team-high 32 PIM over 23 outings.

Kirby Dach - Costly penalty leads to lossDach had four shots on goal, two hits and four PIM in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.
ImpactDach did some good things Saturday -- he played with an edge and his four SOG were the most since Oct. 26 -- but his double-minor for high-sticking with 2:40 left in a tied game was not one of them. The infraction was more of a failed stick lift than an egregious offense, but that didn't matter when the Rangers eventually potted the winning tally with 24 seconds remaining while Dach was in the penalty box.

Lane Hutson - Nifty assist in lossHutson had an assist, two shots on goal, one block and one hit in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.
ImpactHutson's skills as a dangerous puck hander has registered with opponents. During a sequence late in the third period, he drew attention from two New York defenders, before he deftly slipped a pass to Nick Suzuki for a game-tying goal. The rookie defenseman has helpers in two straight contests and 13 overall in 23 outings.
