Impact Evangelista opened the scoring at 5:35 of the first period. He's scored in consecutive contests while earning three points over four appearances since the All-Star break. The 21-year-old winger is still stuck in a bottom-six role, and that doesn't bode well for him sustaining his offense. He's up to 11 goals, 25 points, 99 shots on net, 18 PIM and a minus-3 rating over 54 outings.

Cole Smith - Pots goal Tuesday Smith scored a goal on two shots and added six hits in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Impact This was Smith's second tally in the last three games. He tipped in a Michael McCarron shot late in the second period for what ended up being the game-winning goal. Smith has a career-high 19 points with 83 shots on net, 172 hits, 54 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 55 outings overall. He's mostly filled a bottom-six role, though his physicality may draw interest in deep fantasy formats.

Impact Novak scored in the second period, giving him four goals and three assists over his last seven outings. The 26-year-old has surged despite playing in a bottom-six role. He's up to 12 goals, 28 points, 74 shots and a minus-8 rating through 45 appearances this season. Fantasy managers in deeper formats could find a spot for Novak while he's scoring.

Kevin Lankinen - Solid in win Lankinen allowed three goals on 26 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Golden Knights.
Impact Lankinen faded a little bit in the third period, but he was able to protect the Predators' lead to the end. This was his first win since Jan. 12, though it was also just his third appearance in that span. The 28-year-old is now 7-4-0 with a 3.32 GAA and an .888 save percentage over 16 appearances this season. He's mainly backed up Juuse Saros, who will likely start in Los Angeles on Thursday.

Impact This is Lankinen's first start since Jan. 27, though he made a relief appearance versus the Stars last Thursday. The 28-year-old has struggled in limited action this season, going 6-4-0 with a 3.35 GAA and an .889 save percentage over 15 appearances. The Golden Knights have scored a modest 16 goals over their last six games and are on the second half of a back-to-back.

Impact Gurianov's star has really faded since recording a career-best 31 points with Dallas two seasons ago. He has just two points in 13 games in his first season in Nashville, and spends most nights watching from the sidelines. Currently riding out a one-year, $850,000 contract signed back in July, it's hard to see him returning to the Preds again next season. At this point, a change of scenery is probably best for the 26-year-old winger.

Dante Fabbro - Gets rare start Saturday Fabbro returned from a three-game stint as a healthy scratch in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues, but failed to crack the scoresheet in 17:09 of ice time.
Impact Fabbro's presence in the lineup is too unpredictable these days to be able to count on him for fantasy production. Throw in his low scoring totals (2G, 8A in 42 games), and it's really hard to recommend him outside of very deep leagues. The 25-year-old defender posted a career-best 24 points two seasons ago, but it's difficult to imagine him getting back to that level anytime soon.

Impact Schenn's first season in Nashville has been largely forgettable, especially since he's spent most of it sidelined with a lower-body injury. He's currently sitting with six points (1G, 5A) in 36 games, which will make it tough for him to match the 22 points he recorded last season, split between the Canucks and Maple Leafs. He's currently skating on the Preds' second defensive pairing alongside Ryan McDonagh.

Impact If your league counts the aforementioned peripheral stat categories and you had the foresight to start Lauzon on this night, well done -- you were justly rewarded. Lauzon isn't much of a fantasy factor these days, but once in awhile all the stars line up and he pays off. For now, he continues to skate mainly on the Preds' bottom defensive pairing with Alexandre Carrier.

Colton Sissons - Bulges twine Saturday Sissons snapped a five-game pointless streak with his 14th goal of the season in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.
Impact Sissons is now just one goal away from matching his career high recorded back in 2018-19. With 26 points in 55 games, he's also got a shot at reaching the 40-point mark, which woujld be a personal best for him. Sisson's been a pleasant surprise for the Preds this season since being bumped up to a top-six role. He's currently averaging 17:05 in ice time per game, with 2:15 coming on the power play.

Ryan O'Reilly - Racks up two points in win O'Reilly recorded a power-play assist and an empty-net goal in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Blues.
Impact When the game was on the line at 2-1 for the Predators, Filip Forsberg scored a power-play goal in the third period on assists from Roman Josi and O'Reilly. Late in the game and with Jordan Binnington pulled for an extra skater, O'Reilly potted an empty netter on assists from Forsberg and Gustav Nyquist. On that goal, the 33-year old center reached the 20-goal marker - the eighth time he has reached that milestone. He also added two shots and a plus-1 rating in 19:40 TOI.

Impact With the game sitting at 2-1 in the third period and the Predators on a power play, Forsberg received a pass from Roman Josi, skated in untouched and fired a wrister top shelf on Jordan Binnington. It was his 11th goal of the year and his sixth on the power play. With Nashville up 4-2 he also added a secondary assist to put the Blues away on a Ryan O'Reilly empty-netter.
