Jake Allen - Facing Sharks Allen will protect the home net Sunday versus San Jose, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.

Impact Allen will get the second half of New Jersey's back-to-back after Jacob Markstrom played in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Islanders. The 34-year-old Allen is coming off a 31-save shutout win over Edmonton on Monday. He has a 3-1-1 record with a 2.60 GAA and a .904 save percentage across five appearances this campaign. San Jose sits 31st in the league with 2.40 goals per game in 2024-25.

Dawson Mercer - Scores Saturday Mercer scored a goal and took three shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.

Impact Mercer scored for the first time since the Oct. 30 win over the Canucks, and while he's lacked consistency on a game-to-game basis, he's finding ways to crack the scoresheet more often than not. The 23-year-old playmaker has registered points in four of his last six games, tallying two multi-point efforts in that span while racking two goals and four assists.

Stefan Noesen - Scores in win over NYI Noesen scored a goal while adding seven shots, six hits and a blocked shot in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.

Impact Noesen is not known for being one of the Devils' most reliable performers on offense, which shouldn't be surprising given his role of being a middle-six forward. However, he seems to be trending things around following a slow start to the campaign. He has points in four of his last six appearances, notching four goals and one assist in that span.

Jack Hughes - Multi-point performance Saturday Hughes notched two goals, including one in the power play, and an assist in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.

Impact Hughes has recorded three-point performances in back-to-back games for the first time this season, and he's also notched multi-point efforts thrice in his last five contests. He's up to three goals and three assists in four November contests while posting an unsustainably high 21.4 shooting percentage on 14 shots on goal.

Jacob Markstrom - Second consecutive win Markstrom stopped 19 of 22 shots in Saturdays' 4-3 win over the Islanders.

Impact Markstrom secured a second consecutive victory, but he gave up at least three shots while facing less than 25 shots for the second straight contest. Markstrom has gone 4-1-0 over his last five outings with an excellent 2.00 GAA and a strong .919 save percentage. He's getting the job done between the pipes for New Jersey even if his last two outings haven't been as crisp as his previous ones.

Dougie Hamilton - Extends impressive streak Hamilton recorded three assists, including one in the power play, in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders.

Impact Hamilton emerged as a reliable offensive threat out of the blue line for the Devils and has recorded helpers in five of his last six outings, notching multiple assists twice in that span. The 31-year-old has 11 assists in 17 appearances this season, so he's definitively trending in the right direction following a rather slow start to the campaign. He also has one goal to his name.
