Topias Vilen - Assigned to AHLVilen was demoted to AHL Utica by the Devils on Friday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

ImpactFilip Engaras, T.J. Friedmann, Joe Gambardella, Timur Ibragimov, Xavier Parent, Ryan Schmelzer, Colin Felix, Will MacKinnon, Robbie Russo and Tyler Brennan were also reassigned to Utica. Vilen played in one playoff game for Utica last season, after he played a full season for the Pelicans of the Finnish-liiga.

ImpactWotherspoon last played in the NHL during the 2016-17 season. He had four goals and 21 points in 63 games with AHL Utica last season.
