Hendrix Lapierre - Supplies helper SaturdayLapierre managed an assist in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.
ImpactLapierre assisted on a Matt Roy goal in the first period. The Capitals have played 11 times in November, and Lapierre has been a scratch four times, so it doesn't look like he has the full trust of head coach Spencer Carbery. He was in the lineup over Jakub Vrana in Saturday's game -- part of the issue with Lapierre's play in 2024-25 has been his 35.8 percent win rate at the faceoff dot, but he won't be needed as a center following the Capitals' trade for Lars Eller. Lapierre has three assists, 13 shots on net, nine blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 14 appearances, and his path to more playing time may come as a middle-six winger.

Luke Hughes - Power-play helper in winHughes posted a power-play assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.
ImpactHughes has two assists over his last four contests. The 21-year-old defenseman continues to be eclipsed by Dougie Hamilton, both at even strength and on the power play. Hughes has just three assists (two on the power play) with 17 shots on net, 10 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 14 appearances this season. Hughes has talent, but until he can carve out a larger role -- he's averaging just 18:53 per game -- his fantasy upside is capped.

Erik Haula - Helps out on power playHaula notched a power-play assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.
ImpactThe assist ended a six-game point drought for Haula. The 33-year-old remains in a third-line role, but that's a spot in the lineup that may not always allow for consistency on offense. The Finnish center is up to 10 points, 33 shots on net, 37 hits, 17 blocked shots, 15 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 23 appearances.

Nico Hischier - Registers power-play assist in winHischier notched an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Capitals.
ImpactHischier helped out on a Dougie Hamilton goal in the second period, which ended up being the game-winner. While he's picked up six assists over 10 contests in November, Hischier has come up empty on 15 shots on goal in that span. The scoring slump won't affect his role -- he's a two-way beast and isn't hurting for offense. Overall, the Swiss center has 10 goals, 11 helpers, 59 shots on net, 19 blocked shots and a plus-9 rating, and he's still shooting 16.9 percent through 23 outings overall.

Rasmus Sandin - Dishes apple in lossSandin registered a helper in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.
ImpactSandin was credited with the primary helper on Matt Roy's first goal of the season at 13:52 of the first period. Sandin has been productive in November -- the left-shot defenseman has produced one point in seven of 11 contests, and he had a five-game point streak between Nov. 8-17. Health permitting, Sandin is on his way to a career year, and he's up to three goals, eight assists and a plus-16 rating over 20 appearances.
